Let’s meet at the Hrant Dink Foundation Festival of Co-existence, on July 2-3 at the Lütfi Kırdar Congress Center in İstanbul.

Based on the idea that using inclusive discourse is one of the most effective ways to tackle hate speech in the long term, the workshop aims to raise awareness and contribute to the building of a new human rights-oriented discourse to strengthen coexistence.

One of the ways to struggle against discrimination can be transforming the language we use. We have listed the videos for you to watch the series on ways to use a language free from discrimination, racism, sexism, prejudices, hate and violence.

The workshop titled Facilitation 101: Designing and facilitating impactful and human-centred gatherings online will be facilitated by Clinton du Preez from Anew on the 8th December, Wednesday.

The workshop titled ‘Effective Communication for Civil Society’ will be facilitated by Sven Gerst on the 17th November, Wednesday at 23.5 Hrant Dink Site of Memory.

The workshop titled ‘Advocating for Human Rights at the EU’ will be facilitated by Tommaso Nodari from Civil Rights Defenders on the 20th October, Wednesday at 23.5 Hrant Dink Site of Memory.

You are invited to the workshop where we will think about new ways to break the cycles of conflict in order to establish a constructive dialogue without polarization. You can register to attend the workshop to be held on Tuesday, September 21.

Project managers Dagmar Nolden and Cora Bieß from Berghof Foundation will facilitate the workshop focusing on the basic concepts in the peace and conflict resolution literature. 

You are invited to the Hate Speech: Current Debates and Alternative Approaches event which will be held on Friday and Saturday, 14-15 March 2025. Over the course of two days, the event will explore topics such as defining and identifying hate speech, addressing various monitoring practices, and discussing conceptual debates.
