This year, we are celebrating International Museum Day, designated as 18 May by the International Council of Museums (ICOM), at the 23.5 Hrant Dink Site of Memory with a panel discussion, memory walk, music recital, and workshops. We invite you to join us for these events.
Shaped around the themes of memory, truth, confrontation, action and hope, 23.5 invites us to think together about a future where coexistence is possible.
Throughout the week of April 20 – 26, which corresponds to the seventh year of the Site’s opening, we will revisit the themes emphasized in Hrant Dink’s article, titled “23.5 April,” by organizing a variety of events.
Hrant Dink, who was assassinated 19 years ago in front of Sebat Building, where Agos Newspaper's former office was located, was commemorated by hundreds of people on Monday, January 19 at 3:00 PM.
23.5 Hrant Dink Site of Memory is awarded the 2024 Projects of Influence Award by The Best in Heritage.
The face to face guided tour at 23.5 focuses on the life and struggle of Hrant Dink and offers a dialogue on recent Turkish history in the context of minority rights, human rights and democratization. To register for the tour, you can fill in the form by selecting the day you would like to attend.
