In the scope of 35th Foundations Week, "Foundations Established by Women", Hrant Dink Foundation and Kalfayan Orphanage Foundation present a panel "Sister Srpouhi Kalfayan's 152 Year's Foundation".

The talk on Tanıl Bora’s latest book Zamanın Kelimeleri: Yeni Türkiye’nin Siyasî Dili [Words of our Times: Political Discourse of the New Turkey], moderated by İlksen Mavituna, was held on March 1 in Havak Hall.

The panel moderated by Yaman Akdeniz was held with the participation of Article 19, a human rights organization working for the defense and promotion of freedom of expression and freedom of information worldwide.

Rob Perks and Mary Stewart from the British Library and Oral History Society gave presentations during the panel moderated by Prof. Dr. Arzu Öztürkmen from the History Department of Boğaziçi University.

In the third talk of conceptual discussion series  held on January 22, 2018, moderated by Olcay Akyıldız, Feryal Saygılıgil and Alev Özkazanç discussed the relation of feminist and queer thought with discourse.

Dr. Antranig Dakessian talks on the history of the Armenian community in Lebanon. His historical periodisation of the Armenian community in Lebanon extends from the 1920's to the modern days.

Two distinct institutions, National Library of Armenia from Yerevan and Haigazian University from Beirut, that were in Istanbul for the first time, discussed whether it is possible to overcome geographical distances through digital connections.

In the second talk of conceptual discussion series held on January 15, 2018, moderated by Murat Cankara, Sibel Irzık and Seval Şahin discussed the relationship between literature and discourse.

In the first talk of conceptual discussion series, moderated by Nur Betül Çelik, Nazlı Ökten and Ferda Keskin discussed the notion of discourse and the relationship between discourse and politics.

The panel, “Practices of dealing with difficult pasts: Experiences of NGOs” organized by the Hrant Dink Foundation and DVV International took place on 15 December 2017. The panel was moderated by academician Meltem Ahıska.

Dr. Boris Adjemian’s talks about AGBU Nubar Library’s founding process, the archival and book collections, current projects, its connection to Ottoman studies and explains how researchers can have access.

Dr. Boris Adjemian talks on Ethiopia Armenians, the history of the community, the migrations from the Ottoman Empire, the case of the orphans orchestra and the more recent situation of the community.

The panel, which will be organized on the 15th of December by Hrant Dink Foundation and DVV International will focus on the experiences of NGO’s from different countries on their practices of dealing with difficult pasts.

The findings concerning printed press in Turkey between May-August 2017 and the discriminatory discourse report, 'Giaour' Discourse in Print Media was presented with a panel discussion moderated by İdil Engindeniz.
