The Hrant Dink Foundation’s Workshops on Rights-based Living aim to promote pluralism, multiculturalism, coexistence, equal citizenship and empathy. It is implemented as two separate and independent workshops under the headings 'Representation' and 'Social Memory and Coexistence'.

In this workshop, participants are divided into small groups to develop strategies and create a program for building a city. The Democracity workshop, encourages participants aged 13-17 to enhance their dialogue, mutual understanding, and empathy skills.

Based on the idea that using inclusive discourse is one of the most effective ways to tackle hate speech in the long term, the workshop aims to raise awareness and contribute to the building of a new human rights-oriented discourse to strengthen coexistence.

Hrant Dink’s office at 23.5 Hrant Dink Site of Memory consists of furniture, books, documents, pictures that are hung on the wall, photos, trinkets, and souvenir objects. While decorating his room, Hrant Dink selected images that are linked to each other. The duration of the workshop is approximately 2 hours. 

In this workshop, participants explore memory sites and museums that deal with difficult pasts in different geographies. The workshop will also feature inspiring memorialization projects that are being conducted by a range of organizations.
