The Eastern Armenian translation of four books from the “The Sounds of Silence” series are now available in Eastern Armenian. One of the strongest desires of the Hrant Dink Foundation has been to create a memory repository of Armenians of Turkey, based on various documents shedding light on oral history records, culture and identity. This series published by Hrant Dink Foundation Publications aims to recover the traces of the political and cultural memory of Armenians living in Turkey and of the Armenian community.
Four books from the series, Turkey's Armenians Speak, Diyarbakir's Armenians Speak, Ankara's Armenians Speak and Sivas' Armenians Speak are now available in Eastern Armenian. The first book of the series, Turkey's Armenians Speak was presented at a book launch event in Yerevan in September 2021.
