Taking place on May 14, Dr. Feyza Akınerdem’s talk titled “Whose Story Is Being Told? Minority Representations in Turkish TV Series,” the discussion aims to examine minority representations in local TV series by starting from the question: “Whose stories are being told?”

A talk titled "Whose Story Is Being Told? On the Representation of Minorities in Turkish TV Series," held under the HDV Minority Rights Academy, took place on May 14, 2026 at Anarad Hığutyun Building with the participation of Dr. Feyza Akınerdem.

Taking place on February 25, this talk will feature Mneesha Gellman, who will discuss how Indigenous high school students resist assimilation and make their identities visible through access to Indigenous language courses in public schools.

The Hrant Dink Foundation Minority Rights Academy will host an event with artist and independent researcher Lidya Durmazgüler exploring the musical journey of women rebetiko artists.
