The workshop titled ‘Advocating for Human Rights at the EU’ will be facilitated by Tommaso Nodari from Civil Rights Defenders on the 20th October, Wednesday at 23.5 Hrant Dink Site of Memory.

We discussed new methods based on emphaty in order to build a dialogue free of polarization in the workshop which was held on 21 September. We searched different ways of communication trying persuasion or understanding methods.

We have discussed with the civil society workers how to use individual capacities in conflict resolution in the workshop facilitated by Dagmar Nolden and Cora Bieß of the Berghof Foundation and organized on January 25-26.

Project managers Dagmar Nolden and Cora Bieß from Berghof Foundation will facilitate the workshop focusing on the basic concepts in the peace and conflict resolution literature. 

The second online workshop on the discussion of news items within the scope of the Media Watch on Hate Speech project was held on December 15, 2020 with the contributions of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation.

With the facilitation of Krizna Gomez, in the workshop on "Hope-based communication", the importance of narrative in human rights studies and hope-based communication methods were discussed.

The third workshop on the co-existence was held with the facilitation of Linda Norris and Braden Paynter from International Coalition of Sites of Conscience on November 9,11 and 13.

The first online workshop on discussion of news items within the scope of Media Watch on Hate Speech project was held on November 17, 2020, with facilitation of Ebru Özdeş and Şeyma Özkan from the Project. 

The workshop series on "Facilitator skills in human rights education" was conducted by the Council of Europe trainers Ruxandra Pandea and Dariusz Grzemny with the participation of employees from non-governmental and public institutions.

Vandita Morarka, founder of CIVICUS member One Future Collective facilitated our workshop where participants discussed leadership with a feminist and inclusive perspective, on the October 14 and 16.

Hasini Haputhanthri, from Sri Lanka facilitated the workshop on possiblities to transform discrimination into inclusion by putting culture first. The participants discussed the dynamics of culture and its effects on their professional practices.

Based on the Positive Messengers project, which aims to combat online hate speech for migrants, refugees and asylum seekers in Europe, experiences about online tools and methods in combating hate speech were shared.

Faciliated by Dr. Alice Nah from Centre for Applied Human Rights University of York, individuals from civil society sector and volunteers participated in the workshop called “Wellbeing and Activism in Risky Contexts”.
