Attorney Diran Bakar, the first publisher and chief editor of Agos weekly, has spent most of his 40 years career fighting against the injustices caused by the confiscation of properties owned by the non-Muslim community foundations. 

The restoration of the two historic fountains in Ekinözü (Habap-Havav) Village, in the Kovancılar district of Elazığ province, was carried out in August – November 2011 by researchers and volunteer architects.

The second term of the project started on March 31, 2011 and ended on December 10, 2011, on the Human Rights Day and a total of 62 conscience-themed short films were uploaded to the project website.

The exhibition, designed by Erkal Yavi was shown on April 13-30 in Istanbul, Bahçehir University and on May 13-31 in Ankara, Çankaya Municipality Exhibition Hall for Contemporary Art.

The guest speaker of our monthly talk was Nouritza Matossian. Matossian told us about the extra-ordinary life story of the world-famous artist Arshile Gorky, aka Manoug Adoyan, and how he discovered Gorky's Armenian roots.

Armenian Architects of Istanbul in the Era of Westernization’ Exhibition curated by Hasan Kuruyazıcı has been held with the collaboration of Istanbul Modern Arts Museum, Istanbul 2010 European Capital of Culture Agency and Haycar Association.

The project named “Let’s Take a Look Through Our Conscience” invites everyone around the globe, amateur or professional filmmakers, to take to display the different faces of conscience via short films.
