Media Watch on Hate Speech Project’s findings concerning Turkish printed press between January-April 2017 was presented on June 19, 2017 in Havak Hall with a panel discussion moderated by İdil Engindeniz.

In the panel moderated by Ömer Madra, climate crisis, environmental injustice and the effects of environmental impairment on socioeconomically disadvantaged groups are discussed with Bengi Akbulut, Cemil Aksu and Güven Eken.

In the panel moderated by Melda Akbaş, discrimination on education and alternative methods had been discussed with the participation of Emrah Kırımsoy, Mehmet Onur Yılmaz, Ada Ümmühan Köse and Ali Koç. 

In the panel moderated by Nurcan Akad, peace journalism in Turkey and the role of media in the periods of conflict had been discussed with the participation of Sevda Alankuş, Mete Çubukçu and Murat Çelikkan.

In the panel moderated by Itır Erhart, the experiences of women and LGBTIs and gender inequality in sports had been discussed with the participation of İlknur Hacısoftaoğlu, Pınar Öztürk and Nazlı Cabadağ.

With the participation of Aycan Demirel from Kreuzberg Initiative against Anti-Semitism (KIgA) and Johannes Baldauf from Amadeu Antonio Foundation (AAS), neo-Nazi racism, hate speech and anti-Semitism in Germany were discussed.
