On November 20, in collaboration with istos, we will hold a conference titled "The 1964 Expulsions and the Istanbul Greeks on Its 60th Anniversary." The conference will focus on the government’s decision in 1964 that led to the expulsion of approximately one-third of the Istanbul Greek community. You may also register to participate in the panel "Re(dis)covering Histories: Archives, Memory, and Politics," to take place on November 23. This panel will explore the intricate politics of archives and their complex relationship with social and individual memories.
