Turkey-Armenia Fellowship Scheme has been established by the Hrant Dink Foundation in 2014 within the framework of the programme Support to the Armenia-Turkey Normalisation Process.

Turkey-Armenia Travel Grant continues to increase direct contacts and to promote cooperation between the peoples of the two neighbouring countries. We are delighted to announce the beneficiaries of Travel Grant in its 8th Round.

We are delighted to announce that in this round, the Hrant Dink Foundation will be offering support in the form of a travel grant to a total of 39 individuals – 28 from Turkey, 11 from Armenia – for their visits to the neighbouring country.

A group of 10 journalists visited Turkey from November 15th to November 22nd, 2015 as part of the Turkey-Armenia Journalists’ Dialogue Programme, organised by the Hrant Dink Foundation.

Within the framework of the Turkey – Armenia Fellowship Scheme, 12 fellows travelled from Armenia to Turkey and conducted their activities in the neighbouring country at various host organisations.

We are delighted to announce that the Hrant Dink Foundation and Gyumri ‘‘Youth Initiative Centre’’ NGO will be offering support in the form of a travel grant to a total of 32 individuals, for their visits to the neighbouring country.

In the seventh year of the programme, 10 participants from Armenia and Iran were invited to take part in a one-week programme in Istanbul and Diyarbakır to gain a better understanding of Turkey.

In the 7th year of the programme, politics and diplomacy journalists from Turkey had the chance to visit Armenia during the week of commemoration events dedicated to the centennial of the Armenian Genocide.

The Hrant Dink Foundation will be offering support in the form of a travel grant to a total of 81 individuals – 60 from Turkey, 21 from Armenia – for their visits to the neighbouring country with specific purposes.

The Hrant Dink Foundation will be offering support in the form of a travel grant to a total of 64 individuals – 40 from Turkey, 24 from Armenia – for their visits to the neighbouring country with specific purposes.

The Turkey-Armenia border, sealed in 1993, completely disregards the interests and welfare of people on both sides, and negatively impacts social development, economy and environment of border cities and the region as such.
