The Hrant Dink Foundation conducts various initiatives to protect and promote minority rights. By organizing conferences, workshops, and seminars; the HDF highlights conceptual discussions on minority rights and draws attention to the challenges faced by minorities in Turkey. These efforts aim to shed light on issues such as discrimination and human rights violations encountered by minorities, develop solutions, and raise awareness on these matters. With a focus on areas such as education, cultural heritage, freedom of association, and religious rights, the HDF seeks to build a more just and inclusive society.
In line with these objectives, the HDF Minority Rights Academy project was launched to enhance knowledge and capacity in the field of minority rights and advocacy. This project, implemented in 2023 by the Hrant Dink Foundation's Bolis Institute with financial support from the European Union, aims to increase access to minority rights by supporting individuals from ethnic, religious, and linguistic minority communities, as well as civil society organizations working to combat discrimination.
This project is financed by the European Union.
