Kırşehir Çiğdem, October 21, 2017

Sefer Âşır Eraslan, in his article titled "MURDEROUSNESS OF GERMANS", uses statements such as “unperceptive Germans”, “murderous Germans” and “It has been revealed how badly fraudulent the Germans are, who have been known so far to be producing lasting goods saying ‘German goods are lasting goods’ and have made great profits from that, and that they cheated in exhaust gas measurement.”. He thus fuels prejudices against the German identity and incites the readers against Germans with such statements. He also writes: "We do not have any right to be angry at the German butchers. We should be angry at those rotten-to-the-core individuals living there with a pig appearance whose fathers are Armenians and who have MP titles", thereby symbolizing the Armenian identity as an expression of insult and humiliation.

Yeni Konya, October 18, 2017

The news article that was published in the newspaper Yeni Konya titled “The custody cruelty of the Jews” is about a claim that Israeli forces detained 13 Palestinians in the West Bank. The responsibility for the event is attributed to all Jews within the title of the article. The newspaper thus fuels the already existing prejudices and hate towards Jews.

3.

Takvim, October 16, 2017

Erkan Tan, in his column titled "Those who worship deviance" writes: "The ‘Devilish Mentality’ that rules the world faces us with yet another squalor... The most disgusting state the humanity may fall into... Those who do things cursed by Allah... This Devilish Mentality wants to create a new world order consisting of this cursed type of humans... Elif Şafak declared that she is bisexual... Moreover, she stated that she cannot reveal that in Turkey for various reasons. She thus tried to use this shameless deviance of hers in order to defame Turkey". He thus insults LGBTIs due to their sexual orientations and sexual identities. The author targets LGBTIs and codes them as a ‘threat’ to the society fueling the existing discrimination towards them.
