The workshop titled  "Effective Communication for Civil Society" facilitated by Sven Gerst, who works with civil society organizations in various regions of the world on strategic communication and capacity building was held on November 17, 2021 at the 23.5 Hrant Dink Space of Memory.

Participants from civil society organizations gathered at the workshop to discuss new methods to incorporate "Tribal Thinking" (i.e., building a strong core audience) into their corporate communication strategies. Based on their experiences, participants re-evaluated how they should identify their target audiences and which group was prioritized for their institutions. Gerst mentioned that the priority should be given to categories which he called "super fan" and "tribe'' despite the small numbers in the target audience because there are the most loyal people to the institutions.
