This project, carried out by the Hrant Dink Foundation with the financial support of the European Union, aims to strengthen civil society’s capacity to combat discrimination while fostering dialogue and coexistence.
Within the scope of the project, the Hrant Dink Foundation Grant Program 2025–2027 will provide financial support to initiatives that aim to strengthen human rights and democracy in Turkey, protect rights and freedoms, and promote the coexistence of different ethnic, social, and political groups through mutual understanding, dialogue, and trust-building.
Another component of the project is the enhancement of the AI-based tool pari, developed by the Hrant Dink Foundation in partnership with Sabancı University and Boğaziçi University, which automatically detects hate speech. Supporting hate speech monitoring efforts through Pari and thereby contributing to the fight against hate speech is one of the project’s key objectives.
The project also aims to expand the workshops under the Hrant Dink Foundation’s Learning Programs and adapt them for different target groups, developing modules on inclusive discourse and coexistence for teachers, municipalities, and the private sector.
Through different activities, event series, and the production of multimedia materials and resources, the project seeks to promote national and international knowledge sharing and exchange, strengthen CSOs working in the fields of human rights and anti-discrimination in Turkey, and establish sustainable networks of solidarity.
