The Hrant Dink Foundation envisions the field of culture and arts as a plural, inclusive and participative platform. The Foundation primarily believes in perceiving the diverse cultures of Turkey, not as objects of nostalgia to be remembered, but as a richness still alive today that will be passed down from generation to generation. When the contribution of each diverse element to the collective memory is remembered by giving it a name; the spaces of co-existence can be formed, by sharing and creating together.

With the responsibility it derives from the awareness on the cultural diversity of the geography we live in, the Foundation carries out activities that encourage pluralism and co-existence in the field of culture and arts. Creating opportunities to foster intercultural dialogue, the Foundation aims to promote empathy, mutual understanding and dialogue through culture and arts.

At the Hrant Dink Foundation, we believe that even when all else fails for the freedom of expression, art has a statement to make and we are proud to be the agent of this peaceful statement. We know that art is the only key to opening closed borders and broadening narrow mindsets.
