Malatya Net Haber, November 23, 2017

Zeki Taşkıran, in his column titled “TRIAL WITH THE UNBELIEVERS AND HYPOCRITES!” writes: “The intense struggle of Jews and Christians within the territory of Islam, primarily our country, which is almost like an assault, has increased to such an extent in recent years, you are never intelligent enough to solve this as a human being or predict what the next move may be.” With such remarks he positions Jews and Christians as an ‘element of threat' for Muslims and enmitizes them. Taşkıran also writes: “It is deeply troubling that the Arab nation acts as a servant of the USA and the British using their Muslim identity. When we look at our recent history, we may see that the Arabs have such characteristics. That is why, as a nation, we know very well that you cannot set out on a journey relying on the Arab nation”, and with such statements he reinforces the prejudices against Arabs and the British and incites the readers against them.
