Yeni Akit, December 8, 2107

The poem titled "Hey you, the Jew!" written by Sezai Karakoç, published in the newspaper Yeni Akit, contains statements that may be translated as: "Hey Jew you betrayed, you insulted as you see it / Hey Jew you will serve the heaviest sentence you deserve". With such remarks, the Jews are targeted many times in a dangerous way. As given in the lines which mean: "Hey Jew it seems you burnt down al-aqsa mosque too / You increased your shamelessness to the highest end / That you do not even steer clear of God / Your disbelief / Your black-heartedness / Your love for cruelty / You have announced once again", it recirculates a discourse which incites the readers against Jews and reinforces enmity towards them.

2.

Adana Günaydın, December 8, 2017

The article published in the newspaper Adana Günaydın titled “Syrian dealer caught in the act” associates Syrians with crime through the emphasis made on the national identity of the suspect in the title of the news article and the existing prejudices against Syrians are fueled within the perception of the readers.

3.

Yeni Söz, December 5, 2017

The article published in the newspaper Yeni Söz titled "The vast majority of LGBTIs have HPV cancer" points out to LGBTIs as the source of Human Papilloma Virus (HPV). In the news article, statements such as "The worldwide renowned chief editor of Natural News, Health Ranger, wrote that the Western main stream media hides the anal cancer seen in the majority of homosexual men because they fear the fury of LGBTIs, an organization of deviants, which has now become a mafia or because of their bosses' instruction to give support" code LGBTIs as ‘deviants’ because of their sexual orientations and sexual identities; they are marked as a threat to the society and public health, and the hate towards them is thus fueled. The newspaper not only produces hate speech towards LGBTIs using HPV; but it also circulates a language which otherizes and targets HPV carriers, hence excluding them from the society.
