The Hrant Dink Foundation’s Workshops on Rights-based Living aim to promote pluralism, multiculturalism, coexistence, equal citizenship and empathy. It is implemented as two separate and independent workshops under the headings 'Representation' and 'Social Memory and Coexistence'. 

Throughout the workshop, which consists of hands-on activities and group work using videos and additional materials compiled by the Hrant Dink Foundation over the years, the emphasis is on active participation and dialogue-based discussion.

Anyone who wants to contribute to coexistence can participate in this workshop. 

  • The number of participants is limited to 15 people.
  • The workshops are for ages 18 and above.
  • The duration of this workshop is 4.5 hours.

 

Workshops on Rights-based Living 1 - Representation

The main learning objectives of the workshop are:

Empathizing with individuals and groups who are discriminated against in everyday life,

Raising awareness about representation in the public sphere,

Developing pluralism, multiculturalism and an understanding of coexistence.

 

Workshops on Rights-based Living 2 - Social Memory and Living Together

The main learning objectives of the workshop are:

Raising awareness about discrimination and social memory,

Developing empathy towards different experiences and perspectives,

Encouraging reflection on justice, social transformation and the culture of coexistence.
