Open Call for Host Organisations for the Türkiye-Armenia Long-Term Fellowship Scheme is now open!
Deadline: 20 July 2026
Hrant Dink Foundation (HDF) is delighted to announce a new cycle of the Türkiye-Armenia Long-Term Fellowship Scheme for 2026-2027. The priority areas for this cycle are environment and climate change, cultural heritage and tourism development. However, other areas of work may also be considered, particularly where applications in the priority areas are insufficient in number or quality. The Fellowship Scheme enables 3 professionals from Armenia and Türkiye to spend 3 to 6 months at a Host Organisation in the neighbouring country, following a tailored programme.
We are now inviting Host Organisations to apply!
Who can apply
Organisations registered in Armenia or Türkiye that work in one of the priority areas above and are interested in hosting a professional from the neighbouring country can apply. Host Organisations can be based in any city or province of either country.
What hosting involves
Host Organisations do not receive financial support from HDF. In return, the fellow contributes their expertise to the organisation's work. Each Host Organisation is asked to provide:
- Office space for the fellow
- Resources, communication means and materials sufficient for the proposed programme
- A designated staff member to support and guide the fellow throughout the fellowship.
How to apply
Complete the Host Organisation's Fellowship Proposal Form by July 20, 2026. Please don't hesitate to contact us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with any questions.
What happens next
HDF will publish the list of Host Organisations and their proposed programmes on www.hrantdink.org and open a call for professionals to apply. Following the technical assessment of applications by HDF, the Selection Committee will shortlist candidates based on the announced selection criteria. The relevant Host Organisations will make the final selection from the shortlisted candidates. The Scheme can support a maximum of one fellow per Host Organisation.
Fellowships begin only after a trilateral Fellowship Agreement is signed by the fellow, the Host Organisation and HDF. Full details are set out in the Long-Term Fellowship Scheme Regulation.
The Türkiye-Armenia Fellowship Scheme has completed four cycles (2014–2018), supporting a total of 44 fellows from Armenia and Türkiye across Istanbul, Yerevan, and Gyumri. You can access detailed information regarding previous cycles here.
*The Fellowship Scheme is conducted within the framework of the programme "Support to Armenia–Türkiye Normalization: Enhancing Cross-border Linkages" programme, funded by the European Union.
