Hrant Dink Foundation became a member of European Observatory on Memories (EUROM) that is a transnational network of institutions and organizations committed with the analysis and promotion of remembrance public policies.
EUROM aims to promote interdisciplinary research and academic activities related to the construction of public memory, contribute to the analysis and management of the politics of memory, and influence in the right of citizens to use and interpret the memorial heritage, to reflect on the recent history of the struggle for democracy and freedom in Europe, and advocating for a plurality of memories. EUROM works on construction of public memories about various political regimes in different countries, dictatorships and resistance movements against these regimes, struggles about civil rights, pro-democratic movements and the transitional processes in several European countries, as well as others. Due to its programs and projects that are shedding light to and encouraging confrontation with the past, Hrant Dink Foundation became a member of EUROM being one of the 45 partner organizations from 19 different countries.
