Dialogue Meetings 

We have been striving to conduct an inclusive process during the preliminary project of the Hrant Dink Site of Memory. Within the scope of the preliminary project, we are organizing dialogue meetings and we are bringing together professionals and individuals from a range of disciplines, fields, and groups at the Sebat Apartment Building. As well as collecting general recommendations and listening to the expectations of the participants, we are also gathering the recommendations about the content, framework, narratives, emotions, stories, sustainability, audience, and education programs for the site of memory.  The dialogue meetings which are organized with the participation of artists, curators, sociologues, communication managers, architects, the staff of the Agos Newspaper, members from the Dink family, and scholars will continue over the course of the preliminary process. 

Workshops 

Organizing workshops at the Sebat Apartment Building with the participation of international experts and their expertise constitute an important and beneficial leg of the preliminary project. We consult with international experts and seek their recommendations for the narratives, topics, stories, concept, exhibition methods and design of the site. We also benefit from the insights of international experts regarding the audience and education programs of our site of memory which will play a significant role in making our site of memory a site of dialogue and interaction and thus enable our site to promote mutual understanding. The workshops not only make a valuable contribution towards shaping the future steps of the site of memory, but also provide a distinct opportunity to exchange ideas for possible future collaborations with these renowned international experts.
