Western Armenian Language Courses organized by the Hrant Dink Foundation with the collaboration of Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation will start its new term in an online platform on 7 September 2020. The 72 hours of language courses will take place two times a week for six hours in total. The courses will start on 7th of September and will end on the 28th of November.
The courses will take place in an online platform from the Zoom programme.
At the end of the courses, the participants will have the following qualifications:
Level One: A participant at this level is a beginner and will learn the alphabet, will be able to use daily expressions and will understand sentences with basic structures. Classes will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays, between 18:00-21:00.
Level Two: A participant at this level has the proficiency of Level One, and will learn to understand the overall idea of a given text and to express themselves in areas of interest with basic sentences. Classes will be held on Tuesdays and Fridays between 18:00-21:00.
Level Three: A participant at this level has the proficiency of Level Two. By the end of the course, the participants will understand the meanings of simple texts and will be able to express themselves in writing and orally. Classes will be held on Thursdays and Saturdays between 18:00-21:00.
*The knowledge of Turkish is a must as the explanations in the courses will be made in Turkish
