The Western Armenian Language Lessons, that has been organized by The Hrant Dink Foundation over three years now in partnership with The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, is now enriched by Armenain Readings Workshop with its third term. This workshop is for those who want to improve their knowledge in Western Armenian. The workshop will consist of 10 sessions in total between 16-29 July, every weekday between 10:00 and 13:00.

To participate in the workshop, you need to know the Armenian Alphabet, not have difficulty in reading simple sentences and be familiar with the simple daily expressions. Next to Western Armenian literature, especially contemporary Istanbul Armenians short stories, novels and poetry, the reading list will include texts from columns and news articles. Participants will widen their Armenian vocabulary and further their knowledge of Western Armenian.

If you are not sure about your level of Armenian language skills, you can participate to the level determining meeting by contacting us before the start of the workshop.
