You are invited to our webinar, “Creative methods for a new discourse: Staging migration” which will be held on 21th of September, Monday at 18.00 (Turkey time). Please fill in the form below to register for the event.

In the second of the online discussion on the creative methods, we will discuss how migrants are represented with biased and discriminatory discourses in daily language, media, or political discourse, and how they are staged in the theater which is a space for one-to-one interaction. Under the moderation of academician Emine Fişek from Boğaziçi University, we will talk about the theater's opportunities to produce a pluralistic language that respects human rights, with the writer and director Sedef Ecer, known for her plays such as E-smugglers.com and Lady First, and Roula Al-Kayal, director and founder of Cut Academy who staged the play US/N.

The event will be in Turkish, and Arabic. There will be simultaneous translation from Turkish to Arabic, Turkish to English, and Arabic to English.

The participation will be available through Zoom meeting and will also be broadcasted live on Youtube and Twitter accounts of the Foundation. The information and link of the Zoom meeting will be sent after the registration.
