In this second webinar academic and journalist Ahmet İnsel will be our guest sepaker. İnsel will talk about the effects of the pandemic to the civic space and social movements. This webinar titled Civil society during and after pandemic - 2: Civic space and social movements will be on 13th of May, Wednesday at 16.00 (Turkey time).

The participation will be available through Zoom meeting and will also be broadcasted live on Facebook channel of the Foundation.

Ahmet İnsel

Ahmet Insel was born in Istanbul in 1955. He completed his bachelor and and Phd degree in economics. He was a lecturer at Galatasaray University and Sorbonne University. He was a columnist for the daily Radikal and Cumhuriyet newspapers. He still works as an editor at İletişim Publishing House and hosts a radio show at Açık Radyo.
