Kitchens and tables are collective places where culture and coexistence are shared.
We invite you to taste sembusek, mamul, jozelin, herisi and many other delicacies 
cooked by Kadın Kadına Mülteci Mutfağı 30 minutes before the talk.

Held on the occasion of Human Rights and Democracy Week, the event will host Kırkayak Kültür and Kadın Kadına Mülteci Mutfağı, which offer different alternatives for solidarity and coexistence with refugees, to hear their stories and experiences. The talk will be held on December 14 at 6.30 pm at Hrant Dink Foundation, Anarad Hığutyun Building, Havak Hall.

Founded by a group of academics, artists and activist in Gaziantep, Kırkayak Kültür will talk about its work encouraging a social life that is culturally rich and adorned with democratic values and promoting coexistence and social development. Kadın Kadına Mülteci Mutfağı will share the experiences of refugee women who seek for overcoming the boundaries in their lives which is brought to the present day with war and exile.

*Arabic to Turkish simultaneous interpretation will be available during the event.
