The second of the webinar series titled "Civil Society during and after the pandemic"  was held on 13 May, 2020. In the webinar, academician and journalist Ahmet İnsel discussed the social impacts of the pandemic.

According to İnsel, those who say that nothing will be the same socially, politically and economically after the pandemic are in a hurry. He stated that of course there will be a lot of changes, but the important thing is to think about it and to define and analyze the situation well.

İnsel, pointed out that there is an increase in the demands of the public from the states all over the world due to the pandemic. He stated that one of the demands in the coming future will be the demand of state control over several public spendings such as health care and education
