This project is funded by the European Union, implemented by the Hrant Dink Foundation, collaboration with Olof Palme International Center and Istanbul Policy Center to support civil society actors who struggle against discrimination in Turkey.
The scope of the project is to reinforce pluralism, multiculturalism and to support dialogue and democracy by prioritising a respectful discourse around all differences. The objectives of this project include sub-grant program, mobility program, best practices, workshops and adaptation of key referance materails on anti-discrimination.
‘Hrant Dink Foundation Empowering CSO’s Grant Program’ provides financial support to projects focusing on the strengthening of human rights and democracy in Turkey, the protection of rights and liberties, and the promotion of conviviality among different ethnic, social and political groups through culture of dialogue, empathy and trust.
‘NGO Mobility Program’ aims to provide an opportunity to the civil society professionals from Turkey to gain experience, benefit from innovative methodologies and from best practices by working at CSOs in Europe, USA, Africa, South America and Asia.
Best practices, workshops and adaptation of key referance materials on anti-discrimination, enable national and international exchange of information, experience, know-how and techniques among civil society actors working on human rights and democracy.
