As of 2014, around 600 individuals and groups from different cities of Turkey and Armenia with various interests and professions such as music bands, students of architecture, international relations and political sciences, CSOs in the field of women’s empowerment, directors, photographers, musicians, researchers, gastronomy experts have visited the neighbouring country for the first time.

You can discover opportunities of cooperation in the field of your own profession and experience going beyond the border. Applications to the Turkey-Armenia Travel Grant are open to everyone who wants to visit the neighbouring country with the purpose of enhancing dialogue and cooperation. The Travel Grant will support various activities such as partnership building and networking, feasibility visits, cross-border cooperation projects, project preparation meetings, exchange programmes, education and language-learning, academic cooperation, research and dissertation, volunteering in civil society organisations, joint productions in culture and arts, organisation of or participation in meetings, panels, seminars, conferences, workshops, exhibitions, concerts and similar events related to the above-mentioned thematic fields.

The 2023-2024 Travel Grant will continue to support a minimum of 50 individuals between May 2023 - December 2024. Travel during this time-period will be supported by the European Union within the framework of the programme “Support to the Armenia-Turkey Normalisation Process - Rapid Responses”.
