Boğazici University Peace Education, Application and Research Centre (BUPERC) was established in 2007 as the first Peace Education centre in a university setting in Turkey. The main mission of BUPERC is to work towards and try to contribute to the creation of a culture of peace in our environment. The centre is looking for fellows in the fields of Peace Education and Conflict Transformation in educational settings to;
- Carry out interactive workshops in the area of peace education or conflict transformation
- Conduct research in the area of peace education or conflict transformation
- Support the members of the centre during the organisation of panels or conferences
EXPECTED PROFILE
The fellow is expected to be a MA/PhD/Postdoc student in his/her research/dissertation period.
CONDITIONS OF THE FELLOWSHIP OPPORTUNITY
The fellow is expected to continue his/her research and/or do some planning for a workshop related to his/her thesis at the centre three days a week.
The fellowship will be implemented in Istanbul, Turkey.
PROPOSED TIME FOR THE FELLOWSHIP
8 months between September 2017 – May 2018
