ISMA Ltd./Translator.am is a multilingual online dictionary providing translation among 14 languages (Eastern Armenian, Western Armenian, Old Armenian, English, Russian, Turkish, Kurdish, Latin, Talysh, German, French, Lezghin, Zazaki, Homshetsi). Translator.am is calling for fellows from the fields of linguistic, translation and informatics.
The fellow will be involved in automatic processing of multilingual dictionaries, which includes the above mentioned languages, by applying new technologies for developing the multilingual dictionary based on the semantic networks.
EXPECTED PROFILE
A linguist who has:
- A good command of Armenian, Turkish and English
- Ability to comply with tight deadlines
- Work experience and skills are desirable in the linguistic sphere
CONDITIONS OF THE FELLOWSHIP OPPORTUNITY
The fellow is expected to carry out his/her fellowship activities from Monday to Friday, 4 hours a day, free on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as during Armenian public holidays.
The fellowship will be implemented in Yerevan, Armenia.

4 to 6 months between October 2017 and May 2018
