MIHR Theatre / MIHR Creative Union NGO works with no borders; we work with our own approach based on the experimental and new trends! The mission of our theatre is to reveal the philosophical depth of every movement by unifying painting, psychology, dance, philosophy and drama arts.
The main artistic platform that we would like to develop with the help of the fellow is a cultural one - how we used to be and how we are from all perspectives of culture. How we were and how we are in all perspective of the culture. We would like to collect human stories from Armenia and develop an Art piece about our cultural heritage. The art form of the piece is free, which can be out door / site-specific scene or audio performance or an installation.
We imagine the fellow to have an input in the cultural development of Armenia. We would like also to open up the question of the common past, Soviet period and etc. We plan to have joint interviews and discussions with people based in Yerevan or the regions of Armenia after which we would like to analyse the results. Later on, we would create the art form together with the fellow inspired from the interviews/stories.We can have this as a role model and also later develop such a project in Turkey.
It is very hard to innumerate the main activities as artistic process is very individual; the inspiration and individual approaches of the fellow are much welcomed for the phases of the production.
We would like to mention that usually we ourselves make our decorations and props, thus the fellow can also contribute to this process.
