Independent Journalists’ Network NGO / epress.am is a media organisation based in Armenia. 

The organisation expects the fellow to translate articles from Turkish media (not controlled by government) and alternative sources from Turkish into English and/or Russian and/or Armenian, to follow the situation in Turkey, to write the articles describing the processes of the political life in Turkey. If she/he wishes, may also attend the events and media conferences in Armenia and write about that from different perspective.

• Languages: English or Armenian or Russian preferable

CONDITIONS OF THE FELLOWSHIP OPPORTUNITY

The fellow is expected to be present at the office Monday to Friday, between 10:00 and 18:00. In case of events, we may ask the fellow to be present on Saturdays, Sundays and late hours during week days, as well. 

The fellowship will be implemented in Yerevan, Armenia.

PROPOSED TIME FOR THE FELLOWSHIP 

6 months between October 2017 and March 2018.
