Civil Society Institute (CSI) carries out activities aimed at promotion and protection of human rights. As a member of the International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH), CSI works to promote the establishment of the rule of law and civil society in Armenia. CSI carries out studies on human rights legislation and practice in Armenia vis-à-vis international best practices, and develop recommendations for the system improvement. Peacebuilding and conflict management are at the core of CSI programs. CSI works to promote non-formal education and public awareness of the area by revealing and scrutinizing actual conflict transformation issues in the society.
Civil Society Institute NGO is looking for a fellow to conduct a research on the Cultural Heritage and Transitional Justice.
The aim of the research is to present the impact of the restoration of Armenian cultural heritage in Turkey on the attitude and confidence of Armenians towards Turks, prospects of cooperation between Armenia and Turkey.
EXPECTED PROFILE
- Education: Students of any educational background who are in their 3rd or 4th year of undergraduate studies or graduate students.
- Professional background: Civil society workers, researchers, scholars, journalists.
- Language: Fluent in English
CONDITIONS OF THE FELLOWSHIP OPPORTUNITY
The fellow is expected to be present at Civil Society Institute NGO on weekdays from Monday to Friday between 10:30-18.30. The fellow will be free during the Public Holidays in Armenia.
The fellowship will be implemented in Yerevan, Armenia.

4 months from October 2017 to January 2018.
