Sivas is the third station of our project "Creative and Adaptive Reuse of Sites of Memory". The fieldwork took place between 28 September and 8 October, 6 districts of Sivas province were visited, Center, Zara, Gürün, Gemerek, Suşehir and Divriği, where 18 meetings were held with civil society and local government organizations. Among them were municipalities, culture directorates, preservation directorates, university, development agency and governorship. Details of the project were shared during the meetings, which gained the support of the local governments. Their ideas and suggestions on possible support to the project were discussed, in line with project's possible contribution to the Sivas cultural landscape. Agreements were reached on keeping open communication during the formulation of the project working phases. Being as a first step of the coming partnerships, many connections were established with organizations and individuals who bare the memory. Parallel to the meetings, visits were made to sites to update the database of Turkey Cultural Heritage map.
