We are delighted to invite you to the Dumpling Festival, which will be held as part of the Dumpling Post which is conceived with the collaboration of the Istanbul Biennial, Hrant Dink Foundation and 23.5 Hrant Dink Site of Memory and published within the scope of the 17th Istanbul Biennial organised by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV).

The festival will take place on 22 October 2022, Saturday at the Hrant Dink Foundation Anarad Hıgutyun Building. The Dumpling Festival is a continuation of the ‘Kayseri Dumpling Festival’, which has been a source of inspiration for the Dumpling Post and was organised by the Hrant Dink Foundation on 26 October 2019 in Istanbul as a space of resistance and solidarity against bans.

Within the scope of the festival, where cultural diversity will be celebrated around the unifying power of food and culinary cultures, dumplings will be kneaded and eaten together with solidarity, accompanied by a talk on ‘Food and Multiculturalism’ and songs performed in different languages by a multicultural youth choir, KoroBiz.
