Memory sites and museums go beyond reminding us the past; on one hand they render the invisible visible and on the other hand in the long term they help us shaping the future.
How is it possible to keep the memory of the past alive and carry it to the present time? What are the practices of dealing with the crimes committed against humanity at Bosnia and Herzegovina in 90’s? How can the museums and memory sites contribute to the practices of dealing with the past, to memorialization projects and to the development of a constructive dialogue? We will seek the answers of such questions through the experiences of Tunnel of Hope, History Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Memory Lab.
