Through critical discourse analysis, we analyzed news articles and columns that contain hate speech targeting national, ethnic, and religious identity groups and LGBTI+ people in print media in January, February, and March 2024.

As part of the series organized within the scope of the project “Utilizing Digital Technology for Social Cohesion, Positive Messaging and Peace by Boosting Collaboration, Exchange and Solidarity”, the fifth panel titled ‘Combating Disinformation and Hate Speech: The Role of Digital Activism ’ took place on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at the Hrant Dink Foundation’s Havak Hall.

As a part of the workshop series within the scope of the project “Utilizing Digital Technology for Social Cohesion, Positive Messaging and Peace by Boosting Collaboration, Exchange and Solidarity”, the seventh workshop, “Digital Activism for Civil Society Organizations”, took place on Thursday, April 4, 2024. The workshop facilitated by Sally Hammoud was held at the Hrant Dink Foundation with 16 participants from various civil society organizations. 

As a part of the workshop series within the scope of the project “Utilizing Digital Technology for Social Cohesion, Positive Messaging and Peace by Boosting Collaboration, Exchange and Solidarity”, the sixth workshop, “Media Literacy Workshop: Fact or Fiction?” took place on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. The workshop facilitated by Elida Zylbeari from Metamorphosis Foundation was held at the Hrant Dink Foundation with six participants aged between 16-22.
