The event series titled "Hate Speech: Current Debates and Alternative Approaches" was held on March 14-15, 2025, as part of the "Utilizing Digital Technology for Social Cohesion, Positive Messaging and Peace by Boosting Collaboration, Exchange and Solidarity" project. 

KarDes: Multicultural Memory Tours Guide mobile application, developed by the Hrant Dink Foundation, has added a new thematic tour to its Istanbul content. 

Within the scope of the KarDes: Multicultural Memory Tours Guide mobile application project, the launch event for the ‘Istanbul's Water Heritage Tour,’ was held on Wednesday, February 19th at the Anarad Hığutyun Building. 

 

As part of the KarDes: Multicultural Memory Tours Guide mobile application project, the launch event of the "Istanbul’s Water Heritage Tour", prepared in collaboration with the Netherlands Institute in Turkey and Radboud University, with the support of Vrije University, will take place on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at the Hrant Dink Foundation Havak Hall.

KarDes Multicultural Memory Tour Guide mobile application brings together the multicultural history and memory of Diyarbakir with the newly added Hançepek, the Other Neighborhood and Yenişehir tours! 

The Turkey-Armenia Fellowship Scheme was established by the Hrant Dink Foundation with the aim to promote cross-border affiliation and cooperation of professionals from the two neighbouring countries.

Author of Hrant Dink’s biography Tuba Çandar and Hrant Dink’s colleague from the Agos Newspaper, Karin Karakaşlı will discuss Hrant Dink’s life and struggle. This discussion will also touch upon the memorialisation work undertaken during the book preparation phase. 

Based on the section in the Agos Newspaper titled “I am Looking for My Relative”, during this conversation we will discuss the ads placed in the Agos Newspaper by people searching for relatives, Hrant Dink’s articles on and contribution to this issue and the stories of those looking for their roots and identities.

Understanding and interpreting the events and phenomena of a particular period requires grasping the "spirit of the time" of that era. During this conversation, we will discuss the period before Hrant Dink's assassination on January 19, 2007, the social developments during the time he was being targeted, the social and political climate, and the spirit of that time
