Faciliated by Dr. Alice Nah from Centre for Applied Human Rights University of York, individuals from civil society sector and volunteers participated in the workshop called “Wellbeing and Activism in Risky Contexts”.

Within December 9-15, 2019 two news articles that generate hate speech had been selected for the weekly report. These articles generating hate speech against Hindus and Jews are analyzed.

Media watch report includes annual results along with quantitative and qualitative analyses of hate speech data for 2018 and two discriminatory discourse reports which focuses on two topics that stood out in 2018 is now available online. 

A group of five experts from the field of Information and Communication Technologies visited Armenia on 6-10 October to meet their counterparts in the neighbouring country with the aim of discovering the potential areas of cooperation.

The workshop on discussion of news items within the scope of Media Watch on Hate Speech project was held on November 27, 2019 with the contributions of Friedrich Naumann Foundation and with the participation of individuals from different segments of the society

Within November 25 - December 1, 2019 two news articles that generate hate speech had been selected for the weekly report. These articles generating hate speech against Greeks and Jews are analyzed.

The workshop called “Wellbeing and Activism in Risky Contexts”  will be held on November 26, 2019 at 14.00 in Hrant Dink Foundation. This workshop focuses on the wellbeing of human rights defenders in risky contexts. 

Within November 18-24, 2019 three news articles that generate hate speech had been selected for the weekly report. These articles generating hate speech against Afghans, Armenians, Syrians and Jews are analyzed.

The workshop on discussion of news items within the scope of Media Watch on Hate Speech project was held on November 15, 2019 with the contributions of Friedrich Naumann Foundation.
