The Hrant Dink Foundation provides the Hrant Dink Foundation Education Scholarship to support young people who value scientific work, embrace the principles of democracy, human rights and coexistence, and are interested in participating in such projects. The HDV Education Scholarship, which started in September 2024, aims to have a comprehensive structure that goes beyond being merely economic support and contributes to students' academic development, social environment, and individual empowerment.

While the Hrant Dink Foundation continues to support 6 scholarship recipients for the 2024-2025 academic year, for the 2025-2026 academic year it will support 1 new female student through the 'Suna Bartu Fund' and 1 new medical student through the 'Health Sciences Fund'.

University students aged 18-24 who are enrolled or studying as preparatory or 1st year students this year in designated departments of state universities in Istanbul can apply for the HDV Education Scholarship.
HDV Education Scholarship general conditions:

HDV scholarships are given to new students who enroll in preparatory class and first year at undergraduate level, as well as to intermediate year students. Those who advance from preparatory to first year are considered intermediate year students.
Only citizens of the Republic of Turkey can benefit from the scholarship program.
There is a requirement to participate in volunteer activities for at least 16 hours per month in Hrant Dink Foundation activities or projects.
Registration in designated departments of state universities in Istanbul is required upon first university entrance.
There is no condition of not receiving scholarships from elsewhere to apply for HDV education scholarship, but if there are scholarships received from elsewhere, there is an obligation to report them.
For intermediate year students, the weighted grade point average is allocated to candidates who have a GPA above the determined average in the 4-point system and have earned the right to advance to the next year or semester.
All scholarship recipients are expected to adopt and implement the Hrant Dink Foundation Code of Conduct.
Priority is given to candidates with high academic achievement and limited financial conditions.
