Journalists from Civil Net, Internews, Journalists for the Future, Lragir, Radio Liberty, Tert, Yerkir Media paid their first ever visits to Turkey and found out about Turkey as well as the current situation of media and journalists in the country.

The oral history project, conducted with the kind assistance of Olof Palme Center, is focusing on Turkey's Armenians in 2011. The interviews are now published. This project will trace the political and cultural memory.

The report covering May - August 2012 is based on the analysis of hate speech towards national, ethnic and religious identities along with content targeting LGBTI individuals and women.  

The panel took place with the participation of Teun van Dijk, one of the world's most prominent scholars in the field of critical discourse studies and Charles Husband, internationally known with his work on media and ethnic diversity.

Hrant Dink Foundation, Galata Fotoğrafhanesi, Free Press Unlimited and YIC Youth Initiative Center in Gyumri are jointly holding the multimedia exhibition “Beyond Waiting… Stories from Turkey-Armenia Border”.

Journalists from CNN Türk, NTV, TVNET, Habertürk, Radikal, Milliyet, Star Gazete, Yeni Şafak, Today’s Zaman and Agos paid their first ever visits to Armenia and thanks to their contacts with the Civilitas Foundation and Regional Studies Center.

The Support Fund for Research in History Studies, promotes research on humanitarian acts during the 1915 events, with the aim to search and find people who with their decisions back then have become a source of hope for darkened lives.

The conference held on 21-22 March 2012 at Istanbul Bilgi University and Kadir Has University took place with the participation of Dr. Sejal Parmar, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Esra Arsan and Mahmut Çınar. 

The restoration of the two historic fountains in Ekinözü (Habap-Havav) Village, in the Kovancılar district of Elazığ province, was carried out in August – November 2011 by researchers and volunteer architects.

The second term of the project started on March 31, 2011 and ended on December 10, 2011, on the Human Rights Day and a total of 62 conscience-themed short films were uploaded to the project website.
