Date: Sunday, December 22, 2024, 3:00 - 4:00 PM
Venue: 23.5 Hrant Dink Site of Memory

The 23.5 Hrant Dink Site of Memory invites children aged 11 to 13 to a workshop which will be facilitated by Neslihan Koyuncu Bali, where the participants will engage in discussions about Sarkis’ art and leave their mark on Sarkis’ second permanent artwork at the venue, titled XXX.
As with Sarkis’ “Respiro” installation at the 15th Venice Biennale, a wall-mounted mirror at 23.5 will be covered with children’s rainbow-colored fingerprints. While interpreting the other permanent artwork at the site, “Salt and Light,” through visuals and narratives the participants will explore Sarkis’ childhood and his works related to children.
Children participating in the workshop will leave with insights into Sarkis’ art and its interpretation and will have contributed to a permanent work of art at 23.5.
