Adjemian, the director of the library, told audience about the founding process of the library founded by Boghos Nubar Pasha in Paris in 1928 and purpose of its foundation along with the content of the archive. In the talk, he emphasised that the library, which holds 800,000 archival documents, 10,000 photographic prints, 1,400 periodical collections and 43,000 printed books related to the history of Ottoman Armenians, is an important research place not only for the Armenian studies but also for the Ottoman studies. Adjemian, who gave detailed information about each collection of the library, mentioned about digitalisation attempts carried out during the last few years and how researchers can access to its collections.
