AREA / SUBJECT OF THE FELLOWSHIP
The fellowship activity will require particular expertise in horticulture particularly nut (walnut, hazelnut, almond) production.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PROPOSED FELLOWSHİP ACTIVITY
- Design and conduct hands-on training/workshop on nut production including planting, management and marketing for farmers, staff of public and private extension services, representatives of research institutes, scientific centres, universities and other stakeholders
- Conduct training for the corresponding departments of the Ministry of Economy and representatives of Regional Administration Offices of Armenia
EXPECTED PROFILE
- Advanced university degree in agronomy or in a related field.
- Minimum ten years of relevant professional experience.
- Minimum ten years of practical working experience in fruit production.
- Proficiency in English or in Armenian
CONDITIONS OF THE FELLOWSHIP OPPORTUNITY
- 5 working days in week
- 8 working hours per day
PROPOSED TIME FOR THE FELLOWSHIP
Any one month between April 2020 and September 2020 upon the agreement of the fellow and the host.
