YCCD NGO was established in 2006 and registered in 2008 on the basis of volunteerism of some young people with 4-5 years working experience in NGO sector. The main activities of the YCCD NGO include the spheres of Non formal education, Environment, Civic Participation for youth.

The main target group of our NGO is the young men and women aged between 15 and 30, who are living in the rural communities of Armenia, especially in the Northern regions (Tavush, Lori and Shirak) and have different educational, social, family and professional background

Youth Cooperation Center of Dilijan is a non-governmental organization with the mission to increase civic participation of young people for the community development. In order to meet this task the NGO has been implementing the educational and Youth development programs. The YCCD NGO works with local, regional, national and international organizations and foundations.

AREA / SUBJECT OF THE FELLOWSHIP

The areas of the fellowship activities will be social entrepreneurship and PR management

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROPOSED FELLOWSHİP ACTIVITY

YCCD proposes two kinds of directions of fellowship: social entrepreneurship and PR management.

On the direction of the social entrepreneurship we expect the fellow to get involved in the social entrepreneurship of the NGO called “Armenecoop” and help with the marketing strategy. The fellow will work together with the staff members of the organization, train and share his/her own experience with them.

On the direction of PR management, the fellow is expected to focus on the NGO’s visibility plan, PR strategy, website development and brand-book creation. The fellow will work in cooperation with the staff members (2-4 people), will make training both for the staff and for the other interested partners in the city of Dilijan.

EXPECTED PROFILE

For social entrepreneurship:

  • Good knowledge of English
  • Previous working experience in marketing and social entrepreneurship
  • Communicable, responsible and punctual.

For PR management

  • Good knowledge of English
  • Good knowledge of WordPress
  • Previous working experience in creation and /or working on WordPress-based websites
  • Able to run graphic design software, such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
  • Communicable, responsible and punctual.

CONDITIONS OF THE FELLOWSHIP OPPORTUNITY

5 days a week, from 11:00 – 16:00 with flexibility

PROPOSED TIME FOR THE FELLOWSHIP

Any one month between April and June 2020 or any one month between September 2020 and May 2021 upon the agreement between the fellow and the host.
