AREA / SUBJECT OF THE FELLOWSHIP
The fellowship activities will be on ‘Kanun’, folk and troubadour music (ashough/aşık) studies
DESCRIPTION OF THE PROPOSED FELLOWSHİP ACTIVITY
The fellow will be giving master classes, lectures and involved in research about troubadour music which in Armenian relates to ashough (aşık) music. The research will focus on the similarities and differences between the folk music in Armenia and Turkey.

5 working days, at least 5 hours per day
PROPOSED TIME FOR THE FELLOWSHIP
Either April or May 2020, or any one month between October 2020 and May 2021 upon the agreement of the fellow and the host.
