PROPOSED FELLOWSHIP OPPORTUNITY

‘’A&B Public Relations’’, founded in 1974 by the late Prof. Dr. Alâeddin Asna is the first communication consultancy firm of Turkey. Having a Masters Degree of Arts in Public Relations, Michigan State University, the pioneer PR specialist of Turkey, Prof. Dr. Asna, continued his academic career while A&B was growing steadily. Due to his studies at the Communications Faculty of Marmara University, first as a Professor and then the Dean, Prof. Dr. Asna handed his responsibilities on A&B's board over to Sibel Asna in early 1995.

Since then, the company has continued operating under the name of "A&B Communications" and is owned by Sibel Asna.

In 2004, A&B brought a brand new approach to the PR industry and established "A&B Communications Inc." of which its employees can be partners of the company.

Based in Istanbul with a team of 35 people, A&B works with a loyal and growing band of local and international companies and brands from various sectors such as banking, finance, retail, fashion, cosmetics, furniture, technology, home appliances, arts and culture, real estate. Adopting a forensic approach to research and analysis and generating powerful and creative ideas, A&B designs and implements communications strategies, based on social benefit, coherent with the targets of the institutions served, harmonious with the corporate culture, that will add tangible values to all parties and provide measurable.

A&B Communications and its campaigns have been shortlisted and won many awards from local and international PR auhtorities such as IPRA among which the "Non-Profit Project" award with the PR campaign created for the Foundation for the Struggle against Leprosy can be included.

The fellow is expected to:

  • Create content for digital projects.
  • Monitor social activities, preparing reports and analysis accordingly.
  • Do analysis using Google Analytics, Yandex Metrica and Facebook Insights.
  • Help the digital team at their researches, presentations, visual creation.
  • Help the digital team on e-marketing activities.

EXPECTED PROFILE 

  • Good command of English and preferably French.
  • Social media literacy.
  • Active social trend follower.
  • Having a basic HTML knowledge.
  • Basic Photoshop and Illustrator knowledge.

CONDITIONS OF THE FELLOWSHIP OPPORTUNITY

Fellowship activity days: 5 days a week from 08:30 to 18:30.

Off days: Saturdays and Sundays
