PROPOSED FELLOWSHIP OPPORTUNITY

Psychology Department of Ege University was founded in 1976 as the Behavioral Sciences Department within the then established Faculty of Social Sciences. The Department gave its first graduates in the academic year of 1981-1982. Currently, the Psychology Department within the Faculty of Literature offers a four-year undergraduate program in psychology and graduate programs (MA and PhD) in different fields of psychology.

The fellow is expected to conduct activities on:

  • Contribution to researches on Turkey-Armenia relations, the perceptions and evaluations of the youth from both countries on the past, present, and future of the relations of the two peoples in accordance with the area of interest of the fellow
  • Sharing her/his academic experiences with academic circles - faculty members and students - through seminars, conferences, and other suggested formats
  • Miscellaneous activities to be shaped upon the suggestion of the fellow

EXPECTED PROFILE 

  • Academic background in social sciences, preferably in psychology
  • Good command of English
  • Knowledge of Turkish is an asset, although not compulsory, to help communicate with the students considering the fact the curriculum of the department is in Turkish.

CONDITIONS OF THE FELLOWSHIP OPPORTUNITY

A study schedule will be determined according to the activities the fellow wishes to implement upon the approval of the department. The fellowship activity days will be determined according to the academic calendar of the university.
